Autumn brings a few weeks of exceedingly pleasant temperatures in Las Vegas, and this city knows how to take full advantage of that. The cooler days set the perfect backdrop for music festivals, motorcycle rallies and community events. Check out our list of upcoming fall events in Las Vegas that we’re most excited about!

Music

Life Is Beautiful - September 23-25
More than just a music festival, Life Is Beautiful incorporates art, education and cuisine to produce an always anticipated celebration. The event brings together thousands from across the region to revel in the city’s own living room, Downtown Las Vegas. The music lineup includes a smorgasbord of talent, including acts such as Mumford & Sons, J. Cole, Jane’s Addiction and Major Lazer. The list of speakers includes such highlights as Aarthi Ramamurthy, the founder and CEO of Lumoid, and David Kwong, a New York Times crossword constructor and TED speaker. Get your fill from top-tier food vendors such as Nobu and STK.

Route 91 Harvest Festival - September 30-October 2
If you’re a little more country than rock ‘n’ roll, Route 91 Harvest Festival is the place to be. The annual country music festival is set to return to Las Vegas Boulevard, directly across from Luxor. Country superstars Toby Keith, Brad Paisley and Jana Kramer head up an impressive roster of musicians. Between the hot music and cold drinks, this is one of Vegas’ boot-stompingest good times.

The Killers: Decennial Extravaganza - September 30 and October 1
Hometown heroes The Killers are celebrating the 10th anniversary reissue of 2006’s rock epic “Sam’s Town” with two shows at the legendary gambling hall of the same name. The group has yet to announce whether they will be playing their sophomore album in full or a more varied set. Regardless, this is a hot ticket. All proceeds from the show will be donated to local charities for the homeless and addiction recovery. In addition to the two Sam's Town gigs, fans of the rock group can also take a bus tour of Las Vegas that highlight area sites of historical significance to the band.

Art

Town and Country: From Degas to Picasso - September 23-February 20
The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art is set to hang a new exhibit this fall called Town and Country: From Degas to Picasso.
