5 Things You Can't Miss When You Come to Vegas

Las Vegas is an exciting place! It's a city that never sleeps, probably because there's so much to see and do. If you're planning a Vegas vacation, there are tons of attractions and activities you don't want to miss, especially if you're a first time visitor. Here are five of them to get you started:

1. Magic Shows - If you're into magic, magic awaits you in Las Vegas. David Copperfield at the MGM Grand, Penn & Teller at the Rio and Criss Angel at the Luxor are all waiting to amaze you with their illusions, laughs and trickery.

Mob Museum Downtown Las Vegas
2. The Mob Museum - Organized crime is a big part of Vegas history. Located downtown, the Mob Museum is packed with interesting information and exhibits to chronicle the events that occurred from the beginning. Exhibits include "A Tough Little Town," "Hollywood and the Mob" and "Saint Valentine's Day Massacre Wall".
It's interesting to note this museum is housed in a building that was once a courthouse. This is the same courthouse which held the famous (mob-related) Kefauver Committee hearings. The actual courtroom has been restored to an exact replica of what it looked like at the time of the trial.

3. NASCAR Driving - Have you always wanted to be just like Richard Petty? You can, when you book the Richard Petty Rookie Experience. Depending on your driving ability, you can anticipate driving speeds of up to 134 MPH. Buckle up for eight thrilling laps around the Las Vegas Speedway, in a 600-horsepower NASCAR-style stock car. At the end of it all, you'll receive a "graduation packet", complete with a time sheet to show your envious friends.

4. Helicopter Tours - No trip to this destination is complete without an exciting helicopter tour over the city. Choose an itinerary that flies over the Grand Canyon, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and more. And, there's no better view of the Strip, especially at sunset!

5. Pawn Stars - If you're a Pawn Star's fan, why not visit the shop in person? You  might even get lucky enough to meet Chumlee or Rick. Visitors are encouraged to bring an item to be appraised. There's usually a line at the door to get in so it's best to arrive early. Happy shopping!

These options are just the tip of the iceberg. There are thousands of things to see and do in Las Vegas. Whether you're traveling alone or as part of a group, you'll never forget the fun and excitement the city offers.

3 Romantic Date Ideas in Vegas

Las Vegas attracts its fair share of singles, but the City of Lights is a great spot for romantic couples too. There's no other city in the world where you can enjoy a starlit gondola ride, a drink atop the Eiffel Tower, and a quickie wedding at Angelina Jolie's favorite chapel all in the same night. On your next trip to Vegas, plan a romantic outing full of unforgettable sights that only exist here. Whether you want to win someone over or celebrate in decades of marital bliss, these three Las Vegas gems will do the trick.

1. Soar Over the Strip in a Neon Air Nights Tour
Even from a passing car window, the Vegas Strip and surrounding landmarks are magnificent at night. From the sky, however, they truly sparkle. Our Neon Air Nights tour is a nighttime helicopter tour of the city's brightest and most dazzling stretches of street, including the hotels and casinos that line Las Vegas Boulevard and the throwback treasures of Fremont Street.
This unforgettable approximately 12 - 15 minute tour includes the following perks:
Champagne before the flight
Pickup and drop-off at nearby hotels
180-degree views of the Strip and Fremont Street
Theater-style seating
Commentary through a state-of-the-art sound system
After you hover over the dancing fountains and neon lights with your special guest, romance will linger in the air.

2. Celebrate the Human Body at Zumanity
Every Cirque du Soleil production is made for an impressive date night, but Zumanity™ is the acrobatic company's most seductive show yet. Surreal sensuality is the theme of this Las Vegas exclusive, which is the first Cirque production to feature haute couture costumes or a striptease (let alone both in the same night).
This isn't your average Vegas burlesque, though. You'll feel comfortable with a variety of body types and humorous segues, and you won't forget the performers' artful renditions of some of the most passionate dances ever created.

3. Float Over the Valley in a Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride
After you spend an evening exploring human sexuality and touring Vegas by helicopter, ride off into the sunrise together on a hot air balloon! The Vegas Sunrise Hot Air Balloon ride is exactly what it sounds like: a hot air balloon tour during sunrise. Start your day with a splash of brilliant colors across the desert sky, as you float across the Las Vegas Valley with help from the morning wind.
This tranquil trip for two includes the following perks:
Champagne toast
Snack plate with cheese, deli meat, strawberries, and cookies
Door-to-door transportation
360-perspective of Red Rock Canyon and the Las Vegas Strip
This intimate ride may put the gondolas at the Venetian to shame. It's a special treat for a couple celebrating a special occasion, but don't be afraid to splurge and surprise a new friend. Everyone can appreciate the beauty of a freshly risen sun.
Enjoy your romantic rendezvous in Las Vegas! Here's to an unforgettable adventure.
